Moderators in Zoostrichi
A moderator is a technical assistant during online meetings. In our view, it’s the best first step toward becoming an organizer: you learn the flow from the inside, handle common situations, and help keep events high-quality.
Moderator and organizer are often the same person
In Zoostrichi, organizers support each other: you moderate someone else’s meeting today, and they moderate yours tomorrow. This reduces stress and improves consistency. Some people may still remain moderators only — and that’s totally fine.
What a moderator does
- checks audio/video, connection, links, and access before the meeting
- supports timing so the organizer can stay focused
- keeps the chat tidy and helps with participant questions
- supports speakers with technical setup and screen sharing
- spots technical issues early and helps resolve them quickly
Why it’s a great path to becoming an organizer
- you see the real event workflow and learn how things work
- you build confidence communicating with speakers and participants
- you gradually take on more responsibility at your own pace
